Job Description

We are looking for a disciplined and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our administrative support team. This is a hybrid role that offers the flexibility of remote work combined with structured onsite collaboration. If you are an Excel power user with a high degree of focus and an interest in the fast-paced world of logistics and import/export, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do Under direct guidance and following clearly prescribed standards, you will:

  • Master Data Management: Combine data from various source documents to produce accurate administration reports, forms, and logs.

  • Excel Excellence: Create and manage complex spreadsheets, utilizing formulas and data validation to ensure the integrity of our records.

  • Document Control: Proofread all work for 100% accuracy and maintain organized physical and digital filing systems.

  • Administrative Support: Assist with routine office functions, including answering telephones, transmitting information, and operating office equipment.

  • Special Projects: Provide limited support for auditing, claims management, and licensing tasks as needed.

Candidate Requirements
  • Advanced Excel Skills: You must be able to build spreadsheets from scratch, use intermediate-to-advanced formulas, and implement data validation rules.

  • Experience: Typically requires 1–2 years of related administrative or data entry experience.

  • Remote Readiness: Exceptional self-control, focus, and the ability to remain productive while working independently from a home office.

  • Attention to Detail: A "quality-first" mindset with a proven ability to proof and check complex work for errors.

  • Education: High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Logistics Interest: An interest in or previous exposure to the fields of Import/Export or Logistics Control is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:


Follow specific instructions to produce administration documents from rough draft and/or combine data from various source documents. Proof and check work for accuracy. Transfer data to forms, logs, records or reports.


Collect, process and deliver mail for administration support area.


Answer telephones, receive and transmit information, and operate office equipment. Maintain files and perform other routine administration functions.


Perform limited other administration duties such as support of auditing, claims management, licensing,


Complexity of Tasks: Under close guidance and direct supervision, perform routine administration duties involving application of clearly prescribed standard practices.


Qualifications: High school diploma or a special combination of education and experience, and/or demonstrated accomplishments.


Typically requires a minimum of 1 - 2 years of related experience.
