JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is assisting a client of our in identifying a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance Manager to support the financial operations of a U.S.-based family office. This role supports the accounting, financial reporting, cash management, and budgeting functions, working closely with group finance and external advisors across a portfolio of operating entities and personal assets.
The ideal candidate combines solid technical accounting skills with discretion, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a highly confidential, relationship-driven environment.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for family entities, trusts, and investment vehicles
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and perform reconciliations across multiple accounts and entities
• Assist with consolidation of financial reporting across investment, operating, and personal structures
• Support budget preparation, forecasts, and cash-flow monitoring
• Process and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and expense management
• Support compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with external CPAs on tax preparation, filings, and audits
• Support tax planning initiatives in collaboration with legal and tax advisors
• Assist with day-to-day cash flow monitoring, bank reconciliations, and processing of capital calls/distributions
• Monitor bank, brokerage, and investment accounts
• Handle sensitive personal and financial information with the highest level of discretion
• Provide ad hoc analysis and support as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Some exposure to working with multiple entities or legal structures
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
• CPA or CMA designation
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Prior experience in a family office, private equity, hedge fund, or investment management environment
• Experience with accounting platforms such as Xero or family office software
