Responsibilities of a Maintenance Team Member

Front-Line Team Member –

You’ll be part of the crew out in the field, helping deliver high-quality lawn care and landscaping services to our customers.

• Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks with a strong focus on quality and reliability. Tasks may include mowing, string trimming, blowing, edging, weeding, pruning, and general property cleanup.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physically demanding work, including regularly lifting and carrying 35–80 pounds.
• Help ensure equipment, tools, and job sites are cleaned up and prepared so the team is ready for the next workday.

How We Measure Success

• Attendance: Might sound basic, but it’s critical to meet our Customer Service goals. You need to be here as required by your Supervisory team.
• Budget vs Actual Hours: Keeping jobs profitable is dependent on managing the time planned and spent at each job.
• Return Rates: You’ll ensure quality control to make sure it’s rare to ever need to go back to redo a job.
• Customer Retention: Building great relationships with each customer, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service, will keep them coming back.

Duties

• Full Utilization of Software & Processes: This helps make all the above possible.
• Maintain residential and Commercial lawns (Mowing, Trimming, Edging, Blowing)
• Operate commercial equipment: mowers, trimmers, trailers, blowers, snow tools
• Perform various landscaping services such as mulch installation, stone installation, leaf cleanups, and snow removal

What We're Looking For:

• Valid driver’s license with a  clean MVR (3-year history)
• Willing to drive or learn to drive  truck/trailer combinations
• Reliable attendance and team mindset — we work closely together
• Confidence interacting with job appropriate apps
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Willingness to learn and grow — no experience necessary (Although having experience is preferred)
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check
• Minimum 2 years prior experience in landscaping, lawn service, or similar service industries.
• If you don’t already have experience, you must be willing to complete training within 2 weeks

Benefits & Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.00 to $30 and is dependent on your experience as a lawncare or landscaping professional.
